28.11.13  Blackburn Fishing Project Wins People's Millions Vote A Blackburn based organisation asked for your help earlier this week in voting for them to win a head-to-head People's Millions funding competition. We are very pleased to report therefore that The Lodge project won it's funding.

27.11.13  Sainsbury’s confesses that ‘British’ Eels actually came from New Zealand The Chief Executive of Sainsbury’s, Justin King CBE, has written to the Angling Trust admitting that jellied eels sold in his supermarkets are not in fact from the British Isles, as they were marketed, but are in fact from New Zealand.
