09.09.10 Tees Barrage Report Confirms Anglers' Fears
The results of the second year's study tracking salmon and sea trout
migration through the Tees Barrage has confirmed anglers' long-held
belief that the barrage is a major factor hindering the recovery of
migratory fish stocks in the River Tees, which are lagging far behind
those in the neighbouring Rivers Tyne and Wear.
Of 72 fish electronically-tagged in the estuary, not a single one
successfully negotiated the barrage to migrate up river to spawn.
09.09.10 FIPSed 12th World Carp Championship 2010
The FIPSed 12th World Carp Championships will be hosted by Angling Trust for the very first time, and will be held at Linear Fisheries, Witney, Oxford from 7th – 10th October 2010 with 20 nations taking part in this very prestigious event.
09.09.10 Results of The Angling Trust's Wyvern Division 32nd Small Boats Festival

wind on day one restricted the boats to within the Bolt Head to Prawle
point area.
However, on day two the wind dropped which enabled the boats for the
third year running to fish the outer section (1 mile offshore) and to
visit the ray marks.
The Angling Trust has announced the HV Power Electrical Systems sponsored squad that will take part in the FIPSed 17th Ladies World Championships in South Africa on the 30th / 31st October this year.
