The AGMs of the Angling Trust and Fish Legal were held in central Birmingham last Saturday, 21st of May.
Individual and club members attending heard presentations from the
Chairmen of the Angling Trust and Fish Legal and a report on a string of
successful campaigns and legal actions over the past year from the
Chief Executive Mark Lloyd.
27.05.11 England Ladies Coarse World Championship Team Announced for 2011
The Angling Trust are pleased to announce the Ladies World Coarse Championship team for 2011 representing England in the World Angling Games in Firenze, Italy from 27th August – 4th September 2011.

26.05.11 Guilty Plea By £250k Fish Smugglers - Result for Angling Trust Funded Initiative On Fish Related Crime At Canterbury Crown Court on 21st March 2011 James Robert Selvey, a 30 year old transport operator from Staines in Middlesex and Johan Anthony Boutkan, a 51 year old HGV driver from Horsham in Sussex both pleaded guilty to two offences contrary to the Animal and Animal Products (Import and Export) Regulations 2006. Both offences carry a maximum penalty on indictment of 2 years imprisonment. Following guilty pleas by both men Judge O"Mahoney adjourned sentence until 23rd May 2011.
