Salmon & Trout Association (South Yorkshire) We have a UK-wide membership of game anglers, fishery owners/managers, affiliated trades and members of the public with an interest in conserving the aquatic environment and its dependent species. We address all issues relevant to fisheries legislation and regulation, together with environmental and species management and conservation.

British Float Tube Association

British Float Tube Association The BFTA promotes and actively encourages this form of fly fishing and has a membership of like-minded anglers who meet on a regular basis throughout the year to fish friendly competitions and arrange trips to fisheries where members can meet for a relaxed friendly days fishing.

There are several well-developed groups and charities established for specialist anglers who fish for trout, sea trout, grayling, salmon and char. The Trust works closely with these organisations on policy issues and scientific research.

The Specialist Angling Freshwater Group (SAFG)
The SAFG advises and lobbies the board of the Angling Trust on issues that are particularly important to Specialist Angling. The group corresponds via email and holds face to face meetings when the need arises. The SAFG is made up of representatives of the single species groups, other Specialist Angling groups and individuals with particular expertise.

The current chairman of the SAFG is Chris Evans (former chairman of the Specialist Anglers Alliance) who can be contacted at safgchairman@anglingtrust.net
