This new section of the Angling Trust website gives you an overview of how The Angling Trust works in the Midlands Region.
The Angling Trust Midlands Forum is an open meeting which is held five times a year and provides an opportunity for fishing clubs, associations, individual anglers and all who care about angling a chance to feedback their views to both the Angling Trust and the Environment Agency on a range of important subjects. This is your opportunity to influence the decisions, strategies and help identify common issues that impact angling across the region. The Forum will also allow anglers and clubs the opportunity to get involved in local projects and initiatives.
We hold two meeting in the East Midlands (Trent catchment), two meetings in the West Midlands (Severn Catchment). one meeting in Shropshire and one meeting in Central.
At the bottom of the page you will find links to previous Forum meeting notes and Environment Agency Midlands Reports to download.
Anglers get involved in many activities promoted by the Midlands Forum, including the Severn Roach Project (run by the Severn Rivers Trust) and also the Severn Catchment Predator Study run in co-operation with the Environment Agency.
