We want to prove that well trained volunteers can have key part to play in stopping illegal fishing, poaching and fish theft. We then hope to roll the scheme out right round the country. The Angling Trust East Of England Forum is an open meeting which is held four times a year and provides an opportunity for fishing clubs, associations, individual anglers and all who care about angling a chance to feedback their views to both the Angling Trust and the Environment Agency on a range of important subjects.  This is your opportunity to influence the decisions, strategies and help identify common issues that impact angling across the region. The Forum will also allow anglers and clubs the opportunity to get involved in local projects and initiatives.

The Environment Agency supports the forums with rod licence money. The Environment Agency also attends all meetings to share plans, listen to anglers concerns, answer questions and address problems.
