eBay Go Fishing With A Star Final Auction
2011 INTERNATIONAL FUND RAISING

‘GO FISHING WITH A STAR’

A DAY’S FISHING FOR 2 PEOPLE WITH AN INTERNATIONAL OR TOP UK ANGLER

This is a unique opportunity to spend a day fishing with an angler of your choice for two people.

Commencing on Thursday 20th October 2011  you can bid on eBay for you and a friend, or you and a family member to fish and ask as many questions as you like of your chosen angler.

The day will also include, meeting your coach, having breakfast (if available on site) talking about and discussing the venue, signing autographs, taking photographs, and discussing tackle etc.

The Angling Trust have secured a promise from some of the best anglers in England to spend a day with eBay winners to help fund three of our International coarse angling teams, the Ladies, Veterans and Anglers with Disabilities teams in 2011.

All the proceeds from these auctions will go towards helping support these teams who have taken part in the World Angling Games in Italy this year.

The auction will take place over a 10 day period on eBbay to commence on Thursday 20th October 2011.  Each Star angler will stipulate a venue and the highest bidder will then be contacted by the angler to make arrangements and mutually decide on a date for the outing to take place.

The Star anglers are;

Steve Ringer. Venue: TBC

Steve is arguably the best commercial angler in England and has recently won a silver medal in the first ever World Feeder Championships held in Italy this year, and is a regular contributor to all the leading angling magazines.

Darren Cox. Venue: Midlands area

Darren is an England international and was a member of Preston Innovations Team England in the first ever Feeder World Championships in Italy this year.  Darren is the UK Manager for  Garbolino and his knowledge of all types of fishing equipment is second to none.

Andy Findlay.  Venue: Makins Fishery, Warwickshire or Foundation Lake, Mallory Park, Leicestershire

Andy needs little introduction to most anglers as he has been at the forefront of modern fishing techniques for over a decade and is forever tweaking and improving tackle and techniques in his quest to catch even more fish (he has just invented the Banjo feeder). If you like to catch carp and want to know how to put more of them into YOUR net, the Fin is your man. His innovative approach to commercial fisheries has helped shape the way we fish these venues to such an extent that we now take for granted the methods, tackle and tactics that he helped to pioneer!

Will Raison.  Venue: Gold Valley Fishery, Aldershot, Hants

Ex World Champion Will is generally regarded as one of England’s best all rounders he is a regular member of Drennan Team England and is one of Daiwa Dorkings first team choices. He is equally at home fishing on commercials or natural waters.

Please take this opportunity to HAVE A GREAT DAY’S  fishing and remember all the proceeds will go towards helping fund our International coarse teams.
