The Angling Trust has been taking its campaigns for restoring fish stocks right to the top over the past month, with a series of high profile events involving numerous MPs, the Environment Minister, the Secretary of State for the Environment and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales.

01.06.18  Catch a Crucian Competition is back and bigger for 2018 The Angling Trust and the National Crucian Conservation Project (NCCP) have once again teamed up with the Association of Crucian Anglers to organise the Catch a Crucian photographic competition. Thanks to Bait-Tech and Angling Direct there are some great prizes of offer, with entries to be judged by a panel of leading crucian crusaders including Hugh Miles from Passion for Angling, the author and crucian expert Peter Rolfe, angling artist Chris Turnbull and big fish specialist Gary Newman.

25.05.18  More fishing licence money to be used for angling projects through Angling Improvement Fund

At least £300,000 of fishing licence income is being made available to angling clubs and fisheries based in England through the latest round of funding from the Angling Improvement Fund (AIF).
