Wyvern marine shore festival winners 2014

06.05.14  Wyvern Marine Region Shore Angling Festival A Great Success 72 anglers from all over the West country enjoyed a sunny May day when they competed in the Wyvern Region's Shore Angling Festival on Sunday 4th May. This event was the re-run of the previously cancelled event scheduled of January 5th when the storms made it dangerous and impossible to fish.

02.05.14  Fifth Voluntary Bailiff Service Induction Held The 12th April 2014 saw the fifth Phase One Voluntary Bailiff Service (VBS) Induction, held at Get Hooked on Fishing's London HQ. Once more the day was a great success, featuring input from the Angling Trust, Environment Agency, National Wildlife Crime Unit and, for the first time, Cefas - emphasising the increasing importance of this partnership initiative.

02.05.14  Fishery managers add salt to their talks Sea breezes promise to freshen up proceedings at the annual open-to-all conference of the Institute of Fisheries Management (IFM) in Liverpool, October 7-9.  Marine fisheries will feature in about half the sessions.
