The programme will begin with anglers fishing in a competitive situation with the focus on performance and rather than solely results. Pole and Waggler tactics will be used during the session with anglers asked to use natural baits, local fishery rules will apply. The screening will give coaches an opportunity to observe and communicate with the anglers on a 1-1 basis. Coaches will assess anglers based on their combined performance and results.

To participate in the England Talent Pathway programme, you must be aged 12 or over on 31.07.2019 and 17 or under on 31.12.2019.
